The Personalities of the Future Invitation Program (PIPA) received a group of four personalities on the theme of "global health", for a study trip to France from April 5 to 10:
- Mr. Darlington Akogo (Ghana) is the CEO of minoHealth AI Labs, a startup that works on developing AI solutions to improve quality and access to medical care.
- Mr. Hatem F. Amer (Egypt) is Director of International Relations at the Ministry of Health and Population.
- Dr. Bach Tran (Vietnam) is professor and dean of the faculty of Public Health at the National University of Vietnam in Hanoi.
- Mr. Joji Sugawara (Japan) is the vice president of the Health and Global Policy Institute, a think tank leading reflections on public health policies.
The visit was structured around meetings with key interlocutors on the following topics: infrastructure and responsible governance of AI for public health resilience in developing countries; planetary health and resilience of health systems; innovation in medical education and global health policies; as well as issues related to humanitarian cooperation, migration management, and climate governance in the face of microbial resistance.
The PIPA winners had the opportunity to attend the One Health 2026 summit held in Lyon on 6 and 7 April, and continued their stay in Paris. During this week, our PIPA guests discovered the most renowned French institutions in the field of health such as the Institut Pasteur, the Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris (AP-HP) or the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), and they spoke with key interlocutors.
These meetings conducted as part of the PIPA program contribute to the promotion of French diplomacy in health matters.
